Mesh Analysis

• Nodal Analysis for Voltage
• Mesh: A loop that doesn't contain another loop
• Works on planar circuits only

1. Define all voltages in a clockwise direction
2. Define currents at shared mesh boundaries
3. Use KCL to express non-mesh currents in terms of mesh currents
4. Use KVL to find mesh currents

• We can deal with current sources by creating a supermesh
  • This is created from 2 meshes that share a current source
